Building exclusive licensed collections that sell out and scale
The Challenge
We were tasked by Disney to create a program that felt unique and brought the magic of the brand to life in an elevated, collectible way, suitable for everyday retail environments. With Disney being a highly licensed property, differentiating our collections through thoughtful design and presentation was a big opportunity and also a challenge.

The Concept
Our entry into the Disney licensing space began with a landmark collaboration between Rae Dunn and Disney in 2023. This co-branded launch laid the foundation for an ongoing, high-impact partnership built on trust and operational excellence. We developed multiple in-house Disney ceramic collections aligned with seasonal moments and fan-favorite characters, blending elevated design with broad consumer appeal.
The Creation
Our design and sourcing teams partnered closely to ensure every product adhered to Disney’s strict compliance and quality guidelines. With ceramics accounting for 90% of the assortment, products featured unique glazes, specialized techniques, and trend-relevant forms to elevate the collections beyond standard licensed offerings. Every detail, from silhouettes to packaging, was crafted to reflect both brand authenticity and retailer merchandising goals.



Commercialization
The launch collection sold out within a single day. Subsequent Disney collections quickly became top performers for our retail partners, with strong sell-through and high reorder volume. This consistent success earned Disney’s confidence and led to an expanded scope of agreements that now includes a wider range of Disney IPs.
